Barry Saunders is the PhD researcher attached to the youdecide2007 project. He has worked for Vibewire, Indymedia, NewStandardNews CCNonline and blogs at investigativeblog. His background is in online journalism, media production and journalism/media studies.

He completed an honours thesis about investigative journalism and blogging in 2006, and has published and presented papers on blogging, journalism and politics for AOIR, OurMedia and Australian Studies in Journalism. An archive of his articles can be found [here]
