One little prick…
…from VOTAY and the story that’s been blown up to fill the front page of today’s Oz is seriously deflated.
As Sarah puts it:
For all the ‘treasury slams Labor’s IR changes’ headlines I’ve been seeing this morning, few of the papers seem to think that the fact that the document in question was dated April 18 of last year and was essentially bought-and-paid-for by the Howard government is particularly relevant. It’s the same line that the Howard government was touting in the run-up to its election loss last November- “the sky will fall in if Labor removes WorkChoices”. Why is it considered news now?
They also talk about another topic which may or may not be related to my headline - the opening of Queensland’s first officially-sanctioned nude beach on the Sunny Coast. (Includes NSFW, and potentially disturbing pix)
